If there’s one thing that I have learned as I’ve grown

Love is the only thing we own

Life is temporary and ours only for some time

But love is the only thing that we take with and we leave behind

We can leave stuff that doesn’t mean so much

But love echoes longer it’s something loved ones can still touch

For it echoes through and through inside the memories that we made

Love is a thing that doesn’t fade

Oh, what a gift God has given

From His love in which we’re livin

Until we make it to our final destination

We are given love and salvation

How wonderful it is that we also can love others too

In all we say and all we do

For it truly is something that comes from God above

there really is nothing better than His love
