No amount of fame, wealth or popularity

Can ever take God’s place

For love of worldly things cannot measure to God’s grace

They’ll always be something missing

Always a void that only God can fill

If we don’t learn to live for Him, His word

And His will

For worldly pleasure

Will never measure

For our soul longs always for God above

Knowing we crave His unfailing love

We can search everywhere, or with anyone we meet

But only with God is our soul made complete
