The night sky

My youngest son got a telescope for Christmas. He loves outer space. There is something so magnificent about the night sky. The stars and the planets. God is so detail oriented in how He created the universe. It is all so magnificent. I watched as my youngest went outside and started to try out his first telescope. If we ever need a reminder of God’s awesomeness we need only but to look up. To see the wonder and awe of His creation. The stars that twinkle, the moon that shines and the planets that move about. God is so incredible. Friend, if your able, tonight when the sun goes down, look up at the night sky. May we be reminded of His perfect design and be in awe of the universe that He so wonderfully made.

The night sky

Genesis 1:14-16 NIV

And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
