Valued

I was searching for a Tupperware set online. Now I love to read reviews to make sure that I know what I am purchasing is a good product. Although every time I thought I had a good set, there would be some review that would make me question it, and then suddenly I would not want it. It got to the point where I felt discouraged and almost decided not to buy any. Although I did really need them. I looked once again, finally settling on a nice-looking set. Though it too had some negative reviews, I realized that they all did. I just had to sift through what seemed like the most reasonable bunch. So, I made my purchase.

Through this process it reminded me of how we sometimes view each other. We have at least once in our lives put reviews on others in what we think their worth is. Maybe without even realizing it. Others doing the same to us. Although no matter how great we might be, there will always be someone rating us less than. We’re not perfect and some people are just really judgmental. Though I love that no matter what people review us as, God still chooses us. He still picks us and wants to use us for His glory. Friend, may we find our worth and our value in God and not what the world labels us. May we also see people the way God sees us. Valued, needed, wanted and so very loved.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
