We danced in the kitchen as supper was cooking. Our music playing in the background. Sometimes it is the little things, the special unplanned joyous moments shared with your spouse. Life can keep us busy and sometimes we don’t have time for those bigger date nights Though it isn’t just those grand gestures. It is also in those moments in between that remind each other how much you love one another. My husband is my safe space and when he comes home and hugs me, I feel more at ease and so very loved. I am his haven where he knows I will do what I can to give him a home filled with peace and love. Life can also be expensive and going on dates might not be in the budget. Though dating our spouse can also be a walk in the park, a movie night at home or even doing a craft together. Society may try at times to separate the love between a husband and a wife. Though we must remember to cherish our spouses. To honor and respect them. Marriage is not going to always be perfect and life will often keep us busy or tired, but we must remember our partnership with our spouses. We must do what we can to love and nurture what God has ordained. For when we do, things are so much more beautiful. As our music played, my husband held me close and I knew and so did he, how very precious our marriage is.
