I so enjoy watching before and after house renovation projects. Mainly the ones where the buyer purchases a house that no one would want. The ones falling apart and that requires the most work. I love how these buyers take a place that was abandoned and left for ruin and make the house a home. Strengthening the foundations, rebuilding the broken rooms, cleaning up the messes. Then, after all the grit, all the hard work, all the perseverance, something once broken, is turned into something beautiful. All because someone saw beauty, despite the at first glance. Potential, despite all the work to make it happen. Hope, in what the house could be. I feel like as humans, as sinners, we start out like those broken houses. Though God comes along, and He sees who we can be. He doesn’t give up on us; He works within us. All we have to do is invite Him into our hearts. Making our home with Him. Building our lives around His love. Friend, when we do, it sure is a beautiful thing.

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
