I am so grateful the way that God does care

That I can always go to Him in prayer

There’s peace when I call out to Him

My dearest comfort, my dearest friend

My God whom I can rely on

My strength for the day, He keeps me along

I am so grateful that God calls me His own

That in His love, my soul has a home

In His word I find comfort and rest

As He guides me through life the best

My Savior, my Father and my King

He is my Lord, and my everything

I am so grateful in Him I can depend

That He stays with me forever amen

My Hero, who helps me sustain

Even through my sin, His grace loves me the same

Someday God will make that trumpet sound

But until then I wait to be heaven bound
