Make the most of our time

Life is so fragile. We recently went to a visitation of my husband’s coworker who had passed away. He was still fairly young. We watched the slideshow of him and his family over the years. A loving father and husband. A man though I knew not, I still couldn’t help but cry some in his passing. My husband worked with him for quite a few years. We both stood there feeling sad and somber. We gave his wife and children our condolences. As we did, you could feel the weight of their grief. This reminding us of the fragility of life. To enjoy it, to really pour out love on others. To appreciate it. For life is temporary and we never know how much time we have. We must walk with the Lord, love Him and love others well. We must use our time here purposefully, intentionally and lovingly.

Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
