God’s opinion is what matters

We need not be concerned of the world’s opinions or acceptance of us. For life is temporary, but death is eternal. What God thinks of us is what matters. This world may exclude us, cast its own value and worth on us, and may leave us feeling like we don’t belong or fit in. Though that’s not a bad thing. For if we are living by His word and how He calls us to be, then that is where our focus needs to be. This world is full of corruption and sin, its good if we strive to not fit in with it. Though we too are not perfect, it is a good thing if we stand apart from what the world deems appropriate and acceptable. We need to spend more time being with those whom nurture our faith, and value our worth, and more importantly, value God’s. There have been times in my life where I have been excluded. Though it hurt a little, I thought of the bigger picture. Not only do I not want to go where I am not wanted, I don’t want to surround myself around some whom make choices that don’t align with my morals and my values. When we walk with the Lord, we may feel like an outsider from it. Though that is not a bad thing. Typically, the road walking with God is not as frequently traveled. Though something I have also found is that God places people in our lives that do value our company, help nurture our faith, and encourage our hearts on the right path with the Lord. Friend, if you ever feel yourself feeling excluded, for whatever reason it may be, it’s ok. For it’s always better to prioritize walking with God. With God you’re always included, always wanted, always valued and always loved; and in His company is always the best place to be.
