God said no. When my husband and I wanted a baby, it felt like he told us no. Then one day, it was a yes. Then it was a no again. For our baby wouldn’t ever live earthside. Though I don’t exactly know His reasons, I am at peace with His plan. For when life doesn’t go the way we had hoped the greatest peace we can find is in the fact that God’s plans are for our good and that He has been faithful to us. We have to trust that He still is. For I know that God is good and that He is God and He knows what I do not. My husband and I have learned to praise God for the children we do have, even if not biologically his. We have learned to make new plans, as we trust God with His plans. Sometimes God’s no is not I don’t care about your happiness, but it’s I care about your good. Friend, I know some of you may be going through some hard times. Maybe things don’t make complete sense. Though through this remember God’s no is not because He doesn’t care, but because He does. God says yes to a lot of things in life and has proven to be faithful time and time again. We must continue to trust that when His plans are different than our own, that He is still faithful and working it all out. May we praise God in our good and trust Him in our hard, knowing He is good. Keep your head up friend, God has got it all worked out. Trust Him and His love.
