We get so excited about celebrities; actors, musicians and the like. Yet, do we get that excited, or even more excited about God? Do we find ourselves reaching for our phone, instead of the Bible or things that draw us closer to Him and our faith? When we are singing out loud to our favorite song, are the words truly something we should be singing or even listening to? When we watch our favorite show or movie, would God approve of it? Are we actively living our lives in a way that honors God? Would we change up our actions or behavior if we could visibly see God sitting beside us? We may not see God, but He always sees us. He is always there with us; watching, listening. Are we living a life for God’s glory? Are we putting Him first? Are we truly making Him our God; as He is the one, true God. Friend, we have a tendency to not prioritize God and our faith like we should. So easily we put more precedence on people and things of this world. All too often God takes a backseat in our lives. May we start placing God where He belongs; front and center in our lives. For there is truly nothing as important as our faith and salvation and certainly no one to be more honored than God.
