Power in prayer

Don’t stop praying. Ever. Even when it is hard, even if you don’t know what to say, even if it’s just a quiet moment with God; head bowed down as you just say His name. I promise you He hears you; He’s listening, He cares and He has a plan and a purpose. Sometimes in moments where things seem uncertain or bleak, we may feel defeated. Though I have learned through my life, the power of prayer. Not to mention, the peace in it; fully releasing it and surrendering it all to God. Also, prayer connects us better to God and there is nothing better than that. Not to mention, talking to God is the best way to celebrate anything with as well. I have watched miracles happen, hearts be changed for the better, situations become favorable and God do big things; even sometimes beyond what we have asked or hoped for. Friend, whether you’re praying through something hard, praying for a loved one or even yourself, praying for things hoped for, whatever it may be; God always listens and answers in the way that is best. In the meantime, find peace in talking to Him and wait and see all that God has planned and His wonderful will. For truly there is power in prayer, and we are so very loved by God, who so very much cares.

Power in prayer

James 5:13-16 NIV

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
