I am not a scholar of any sort and I hold no degree in writing. However, I do believe that God has called me to write, for His glory. Moses was shy, with a stutter, and definitely did not initially classify himself as a leader, yet, God called Him to lead the Israelites. Gideon thought he was inadequate to lead an army; yet, God equipped him to be the leader that he was called to be. Jeremiah didn’t feel like he was worthy of being a prophet, yet, God showed him that he indeed was. My husband is not a pastor, yet, he teaches and leads our family in knowing the Lord. When God calls us to something, He will equip us. Even if to the world’s standards, or sometimes initially our own; we think we cannot because we don’t hold a degree, or we lack confidence, skill or we feel unworthy. If God calls us to something, He will guide us in that calling. Friend, if you feel like God is leading you in a certain direction for His glory, listen, follow and obey Him. There is not one person that God does not have a purpose or a plan for. Maybe your purpose isn’t in leading a large group or army, maybe it is just reaching those God has placed around you. Maybe it is bigger than that, though all of it is big. For anything we do for God’s glory is significant and important in bringing others to Christ and giving God glory. We must always follow where He calls us. Where is He leading you, my friend?

Follow where He calls
Ephesians 2:10 NIV
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Philippians 3:14 NIV
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
