I told a joke to my youngest son the other day. I immediately started laughing out loud. My laughter lasting longer than my youngest was expecting. Before he knew it, he was laughing with me. However, less at the joke itself. He stated that although the joke wasn’t that funny, he said my laughter is what made him laugh. It was a silly bonding moment, reminding us of how contagious laughter is. It sure is a blessing when we have those precious moments of laughing with others. It reminded me of how important it is to find joy with one another. We get so caught up, sometimes we don’t slow down to simply be in the moment and find joy in it. Friend, in our business may we not forget to find joy and laughter. May we share it with others. For God created laughter too and when done with love in mind, it sure is a beautiful thing to hear. Quite honestly, we could all use a little more of it.
