Wonderful you

Through the years I have come to realize I may not always be every one’s favorite. I have seen cliques who exclude others, sometimes based on social status. I have watched some be judged and picked last, if at all. I, myself, have been excluded; often not fully understanding why. Though no matter how many friends we do have, or don’t have, at the end of the day what matters is that we lived a life for God’s glory. No matter what the world tries to classify is our worth, at the end of the day, it really doesn’t matter what they think. It only really matters what God thinks. He thinks that we are all to die for. We don’t need to worry about people’s judgement of us, that’s God’s place, no one else. Honestly, we don’t need to fit in, it’s ok to be picked last, it’s even okay to be excluded. We are to love people and be kind, but not everyone has our same personality or interest. So, it is okay if we don’t hang out with some people, as their interest may just be different. I know there are some whose version of going out on the town is fun. My husband and I would rather go antiquing and get ice cream and eat it somewhere quiet. Friend, I just want you to know if you ever feel left out, excluded or that you just don’t fit in, God made you so very special. Some peoples purpose is in big groups, some only a few special friends. What matters isn’t in the opinion of others, but Gods, and He knows you better than anyone. Keep your chin up friend, live your life for Him and be the wonderful you, that He created.
