Handle it like Jesus

You can’t argue foolishness and those that refuse to see the truth. For those that choose ignorance over facts choose to be injudicious. It’s better to walk away and simply pray for them. For those that act in that way are often looking for a fight, don’t let them win by participating. Right now, as a society there are those standing up for truth, justice and love. Though there are also those fighting against that very thing. This is a fight that goes beyond politics. This is a fight good vs. evil. May we not retaliate with sin and hostility. May we keep the peace, keep being as God has called us, let Him handle it. For in doing so, His good can be revealed. With the recent devastating passing of Charlie Kirk, I have witnessed a tremendous amount of compassion and love being revealed.  I have also witnessed wickedness and people being unkind and hateful. Though when we choose not to stoop down to any level of cruelty, we are showing the goodness of God and revealing the wickedness of those that go against Him. Friend, may we not reciprocate hate with hate. May we choose love, even if love isn’t shown to us. Maybe the best way of loving someone with ill intentions is to simply walk away from them. The best way to fight, is not to. For hate never made the world more filled with love. Wickedness always reveals itself and love always shines brighter. May we be like Jesus, always using wisdom, filled with truth, and always being ruled by love. God will handle the rest.

Handle it like Jesus

Romans 12:17-19 NIV

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay, “says the Lord.
