I feel disheartened with the world lately. It seems the closer I get to God the more sin and dysfunction I can see. This world looks very different from the one in which I grew from. Just recently a great man’s life was taken for simply standing up for faith and morals. Another young woman’s life was senselessly taken. Not even one person around stood up to help her. There are things that clearly go against God and are celebrated and normalized. Even by those that claim to love God. There are those that disagree with others using violence as a means for solutions, though this is never the answer! It makes me sad when I see the hurt, corruption, violence and hate. Though through it all I know that someday God will come again and put things right. Until then, in my hurt and anger towards their cruelty, I must not become like them. Friend, God is just. We must just keep trusting in His plan. In doing so, knowing that someday if we stay walking with Him, we will see a world much different than this one. For it’ll be wonderful, perfect, and we will be with the Lord for eternity. What a glorious day it’ll be when He calls us to our new home with Him! I may feel disheartened, but I am still hopeful. For I know we serve a just and loving God and someday He truly will set all things right.

He will set things right
Romans 12:19 NIV
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
Isaiah 61:8 NIV
“For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.
1 Thessalonians 5:8-10 NIV
But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.
