My youngest son and I were headed to his cousin’s house. While at a red light, we witnessed something reckless. There was one car in front of me at the light and another vehicle in the turn lane to go left. Out of nowhere a man on a motorcycle came zipping through between me, the car in the turn lane and the car in front of me; cutting his way through to be first in line when the light turned green. It was reckless, dangerous and unkind and I am grateful that nothing bad came from it. The motorcyclist put his safety in jeopardy and potentially everyone around him, just so he could be first. I am not sure why he was in such a hurry and it was not a genuine mistake he did what he did. He put his wants before safety, logic and sensibility. I do pray that he makes safer choices for himself and especially others in the future. Friend, in our plight to get our destination may no be in such a hurry that we are reckless. May in everything we do, we do so with wisdom. For God will also bless us with wisdom, all we need to do is ask Him. We also must stop being so focused on ourselves that we lose sight of those around us. That man drove away on his motorcycle and I sure hope that he makes wiser choices moving forward. For when we throw wisdom to the side, that’s an easy way for us to be steered off course and we will never get anywhere faster or better if we don’t have God and His wisdom alongside us.

Use wisdom
Proverbs 4:7 NIV
The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
James 1:5 NIV
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
