Full surrender

If we can’t trust God, who can we trust? We say in God we trust, but we put more emphasis on ourselves. Not fully surrendering to Him. We sing His praises on sabbath morning in hymns or with a band and we sing along with our favorite Christian artists. However, are we fully engaged in what we’re singing or are we just enjoying the sound? We say we have faith, yet, we place restrictions on it. Faith isn’t always easy. But if it was, what would be the point of it? We preach that our hope is in Him, yet where do our priorities lie? We say we love Him, yet, don’t take the time to even fully know Him. We pick and choose as we sit on a fence on when we want to live as He calls. We choose what fits our agendas for the moment. Instead of always consciously living it for Him. Though what is faith, if not in complete action in the way we live our lives, walk with Him and in the way we love; both Him and others, always. Can we truly love others fully, completely, and to our very best if we don’t love God first; that’s a rhetorical question. Friend, may our faith be so bold in all moments, that we don’t miss a single moment of everything God has planned for us; fully living out to being the men and women that God has in mind. For faith isn’t just for the enrichment of the now, but the hope that comes after. If we don’t live fully for God, then we are missing out on more than we can even imagine. May we love God; fully, whole-heartedly and be all in, in full surrender, for the one who is the giver of true life.
