Surrendering to God is letting go of control, we didn’t fully have in the first place. It’s trusting the One who has control, with what we do not. It’s giving it to God, knowing, that He is God. He has it all worked out, even when things seem uncertain on our end. Though sometimes it can be hard to let go and let God. Though when I have found myself in trials of different kinds, it is there where I knew there was nothing left, but surrender. We subconsciously try to play God at times. Though we cannot do what He can, we do not know what He does. Though we must do our part, we must remember not to try and take the reins from Him. Life at times can seem to flow just right and things at times can go so smooth. However, we live in a broken world, and there are times where trials, tests, hardships may occur. Friend, I don’t know where your life stands at this moment. However, God, He does. Just as I am learning to cling tight to Him at all times, especially during the hard times, we must all cling to Him, always. May we surrender to His will, His plan. Knowing that His plans are for our good and He does have control; over all of it. I think of it this way, I love my family to a depth I can’t even express. Yet, somehow, God loves us more than that. More than we can fathom. So surely, even during the hard times, we can surrender to Him and His love.
