I see Him

I have not ever seen God’s face. But I have seen Him. I have seen Him in the kindness of a stranger, in the blessings that He so tenderly gives, I have seen Him in miracles performed and healing done. I have seen Him in the quiet strength that can only come from Him. I have saw Him in the gifts on Christmas morning. I have heard Him in the laughter of my children and in scripture. I have heard His voice inside of myself guiding me along life’s paths. I have felt Him when my mother softly tended to my pain when I was small and I have felt Him in the comfort of my husbands’ arms, holding me when I need it most. I have found Him in His promises and in His word. I have not seen Gods face, but I know Him. I learned about Him when I was young and I saw Him, anywhere there has been love. In an uncertain world, filled with hurt, pain, sickness, sin, I can still see Him. For He is what is good here, He is what is promised in my forever and I know someday I will truly see His face. Though until then, anywhere I look for goodness and love I can see glimpses of God.

I see Him

Psalm 27:13 NIV

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Psalm 145:5-7 NIV

They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
