I watched a video of a little boy, who had a disability. He wanted to run a race, with his peers. He was not concerned with coming in first place, he just wanted to be a part of it all. When all the kids took off running, he did too, with his walker and a big bright smile. For sometimes it is not about winning, but perseverance and being a part of it all. Life is not just about being the best; it’s about being present and giving it our best. Winning goes beyond coming in first place. Sometimes it’s simply, being a part of the race. Having faith that God will see us to the end. Friend, life is a blessing and God has put us all here with a purpose. We may not all be number one to the world’s standards, but we are all put here on earth with intent and purpose. May we keep running and pushing forward with a smile on our face and give it all we got. That little boy didn’t come in first place, but I say he’s still a winner. He pushed through, he gave it his best and he finished the race.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
