My husband is the friendliest man I’ve ever known. Anywhere he goes, he seems to make a friend, if only for a moment. Its like he lives to bring others some form of joy. Hes just kind. I admire this quality. It’s one I’m needing to work on. It’s a Christ-like character, that I’m still learning. Although I’m kind, I am also usually focused driven on my task at hand, and don’t always stop to offer a smile. I can also be cynical at times. Leary of people I do not know. I’m learning the balance of being friendly, albeit with awareness. Which can be hard at times in today’s world. Though I have come to find that having that Christ-like character, brings so much joy in others lives. Even if it’s as simple as a kind smile. It also is a good way to represent God’s character, through our actions. Friend, maybe your like my husband and you already spread joy easily, if so, keep it up! But if you’re like me, may we strive to spread more kindness, as many chances as we can.
