King Solomon was so very wise. God had given him great wisdom. Yet, he still made a series of bad choices. Wisdom without action is a wasted gift. Though I, too, have done this. There have been times when God has given me wisdom, and I chose to listen to emotion instead. As expected, it doesn’t go as well. For wisdom will always guide and protect us, as well as others. Friend, we must always ask God for wisdom. More importantly, we must always abide by it. For wisdom will always be worth it, even if it’s hard initially. Being ruled by emotion can lead to destruction. However, being ruled by God’s wisdom can bring about goodness, safety, and hope.
