I heard a Bible story, one of many years long past

About a man named Noah and an ark that would last

For as he prepared for a flood that soon would come

Others laughed as though he’d come undone

They thought he was crazy, so they didn’t follow his lead

Refusal to believe, the arc is what they did need

The flood came in, and swept the world away

While Noah and his family stayed on the arc and prayed

Noah trusted God and His family was safe and sound

As they sat on the arc, until it would eventually hit dry ground

Now this has taught me, we must follow God’s plan

Instead of listening to the wisdom of man

For those that didn’t listen met their demise

Instead of choosing to be wise

So may our choices not leave us in the dark

May faith lead us, to get on the ark
