“Dad, I’m frustrated. Why does it feel like the good guys don’t win?” There was a time in my life where I asked something similar as this to my dad. I remember him sitting down beside me and telling me something along the lines of, “In the end, the good guys always win.” There are times in our lives that can prove difficult, even when we feel like we’ve done everything right. Though I can now look back at those times and I am reminded, that it does get better and God sees and knows all. He is just. More importantly, when we walk with the Lord we do win. Even in the moments of hardship. When we ask Jesus in our heart and have a firm relationship with Him, in the end we win. For we get to spend eternity, with nothing but joy with Him someday. Friend, it can be discouraging when we watch those around us do bad things, and seem to be winning. In turn, we can do all the right things and, in the moment, feel like it may not matter. But it does. For when we choose to live for God, we will always, in one way or another, come out on top. Hang in there my friend, and stay close to the Lord. For when we walk with Him, we always win.
