They stood there, popping popcorn out of our homemade popcorn machine. Their laughter echoing the room, as they fought to not lose any popcorn on the ground below them. My nephew and my youngest, living in the moment, and simply enjoying it. I love how children have this ability to really be in the moment and enjoy life. I feel as though when we hit a certain age as adults, we obsess so much about the future, we lose sight of enjoying the day, the moment, that God has given us. Life is a blessing. May we choose to see the joy in the here and now and live with a grateful heart, for all that God gives us. I look over at my nephew and my son, with their big bowl of popcorn, just two cousins grateful to just be spending time together.
