His loving plans

A little over a year ago, I had a pretty major health scare. I remember praying that the particular symptoms would just go away. I didn’t want to go to the emergency room and I just wanted all to be good. Though the problem continued to progress. Somewhat defiantly, I agreed to just get it checked out. Well, I ended up being grateful that God allowed the symptoms to remain. If they hadn’t, I would not have got the right diagnosis and may not be here today. Friend, sometimes God’s answer seems like a no. Though, when that happens, it’s not a no, it’s Him saying, I know what is best for you. It’s God looking out for us and our good. So, if you’re feeling like God is telling you no, just remember, He’s not refusing your request. He’s loving you enough to do what He knows what it best instead. Hang tight friend, God’s got a plan and I assure you; it’s for your good, and with love.

Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
