When my future is unknown

I still need not fear

For God is with me, he has made it clear

When the load seems heavy

I remember he carried my cross too

Nothing is too heavy for the Lord it’s true

When I’m feeling anxious

When my racing thoughts surround

I go to Him and there it is, my peace to abound

When I’m overwhelmed

With so much that I must do

I know He gives me strength, and he’ll get me through

When I’m just not feeling well

However, it may be

I know that God is my healer, and will do what’s best for me

Though at times His plans may look different

Then how I may have prayed

I know that they are for my good, His plans that He’s made

No matter what I may be going through

I know I need not fear

For even when it’s hard, His love is made so clear

So, when things are uncertain

I can still find peace and rest

God, I know always is, looking out for my best
