Did you ever have kids in your class that were more behaved, when a teacher was nearby? They knew that the teacher had the authority and that they would be held accountable if they did something that they should not be doing. It got me thinking about how if we acknowledge God as being constantly present in our lives (as He is), would we be living it differently? Would we be living as God, our teacher, instructs us? For He does have the authority and we will be held accountable for our actions. A lot of people live as though they can act one way and then go to church and be another. As if God only sees them and their best there. Though God sees all of it, always. When we walk with God, we still make mistakes, as we’re human; however, I have found when we walk with God we tend to live better, as we’re living for Him. I have found that since deepening my relationship with God, I want to be better. Not just because I know that He’s watching, but because I want to live the life that He calls me to. I still mess up sometimes. Though I want to be better. Not just to stay out of trouble, but because I want to live my life for God. Friend, God doesn’t leave the classroom. He doesn’t leave the work place. He doesn’t leave the grocery store. He doesn’t leave your home. He is with you, wherever you are. Are we living our lives only focused on ourselves and making poor decisions? Or are we living our life for God and how He calls us? We are always given choices on how we live life, how are we choosing?

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
