I hope someday when the Lord calls me home

That I have done enough for His glory

And when that day does come

That God was number one

Even up until the end of my story

I hope that I have gone

Where God called me to go

That I followed His voice

I let Him lead my choice

And in my faith, I did grow

I hope that I have lived my life

Using it to be truly full

Living it for Him

Until the very end

Knowing it was His love that made me whole

I don’t want time wasted

I want to live it well

With His love my favorite story

About His glory

A story I did always tell

Someday God will call me home
