We had a big storm roll though and wound up losing power. Our house got very hot, the food in the fridge and freezer went bad and my husband and I got ready for work with little light. Though, I’m feeling very grateful. We didn’t have damage in our yard, our home, and most of all everyone was safe. It’s easy to fixate on the frustration and lose sight of the positive. Though we weren’t shielded from losing power, I’m grateful things weren’t worse. Friend, we can almost always find something to complain about. May we instead find something to praise about. Today I’m praising God for having things not worse and keeping us safe in the storm.
