Sometimes what we need best

Is just a little time to rest

This life can keep us from slowing down

Keep us running around

We are caught in a high speed

Sometimes rest is what we need

Time with God, in the quiet and still

So we can better hear His will

His plans and reading His word

Sometimes in the loudness, He can’t be heard

With Him, may we find some rest

For sometimes that is what we need best
