Slow dances in the living room, singing together, sharing parts of our hearts only we know. Crying together, laughing together, being unapologetically authentic with each other. Raising children together. Reading His word, praying together, and walking with God together. Building a life together as it shapes us into the people God had in mind and intertwines on a level only God knew we could. Marriage is two imperfect people, that perfectly, imperfectly work. Love at this level is something that is remarkable, special, something that you know is truly God-ordained. Friend, marriage, the way that God designed it, is truly a gift. My marriage isn’t without fault. Though having God at the center of it has made it that much more beautiful. I truly wouldn’t want to travel through life as anyone else’s wife. Marriage is a blessing. Something to be truly cherished. Though I have learned, that if we don’t have God at the center, it inhibits the beauty and fulfillment that marriage can bring. Friend, if we want our marriages to last and truly be good and healthy, we have to have God as our number one. We have to Him, guiding it. For there is something so wonderful as having a happy marriage; though, it is through God where we can do so. For marriage is meant to be a treasure, may we treat it as such.

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
