Unfortunately, I am not feeling the best today. I spent most of my time lying in bed today. My husband has been such a great help and my boys have been pretty great too. It’s hard as a mom when we get sick. For there is a lot that rests on our shoulders and it’s hard when we can’t do what we normally can. I also feel bad putting more work on my husband’s shoulders. Though he doesn’t complain. He often reminds me to let him help me and that he’s got it. It’s moments like these where I definitely am reminded that we need each other. Also, what marriage is also about. It’s about in sickness and in health. It’s being there for one another; in whichever way they need it. For some this person may be a loved one or a dear friend. But we do need each other as humans. We can’t do it all, all the time. Sometimes, even when we’re well, we need to still step up and help loosen the load. Life requires a lot at times and God is always with us. Sometimes He’s giving us what we need and sometimes giving us the people that we need. May we be a helper for one another. May we help make each other’s lives a little easier. May we show love and endearing kindness. Just as God does daily for us, may we demonstrate that same kind of love toward one another.
