It was a nice day. The grass was long and green, in need of a nice trim. The sun was shining and we could all use some fresh air. My boys were outside playing basketball. I, on the other hand was enjoying mowing our lawn. My husband too helping to clean up our yard. There’s something healing about being outside. Whether being outside for play or even working in the yard. I have found that being in the fresh air sometimes gives me a sense of calm and peace. Even when I am overwhelmed or feeling big emotions, I find that the fresh air helps me settle down. I also can tell when my kids need a little fresh air too. Something about God’s nature, He knew that we would need it. It is in nature, where we can feel God’s presence on a whole different, special level. In the multitude of electronics and things that keep us in, let us also remember to get outside and really enjoy His creation.
