Where we live, we are very privileged to be where we have easy access to the Bible. Also, we are fortunate to be able to talk about our faith openly. Both for the purpose of practicing our faith easier and having access to read our bible’s whenever we want. Also, this not only allows us to read our Bible and walk with God easier; it also allows for us to educate others too, like our children. Not to mention, we are able to read the Bible for ourselves and not just go off what others may teach. Ensuring that we are hearing His truth. My son has recently started studying Martin Luther. During his time, very few had access to the Bible. So, whatever was being taught, was assumed to be the truth. Now unfortunately during this time, there were many that were teaching things that were untrue. Like how salvation can be bought, instead of through Jesus’ grace and what He did on that cross for our sins. If you know the story, you’ll know that Martin Luther went up against this to reveal the truth. Being that we cannot always count on people to tell us God’s truth or at times things can be misinterpreted, it is a blessing to be able to read it for ourselves. We also have access to so many resources. We live in a time and in an area where we are given many opportunities to better understand His word and to walk with Him. May we take advantage of it. For time is precious, let’s not waste it. That’s dive into His word and learn to walk better with Him, in truth.
