His plans are bigger

Sometimes God works in mysterious ways, sometimes interesting and unexpected ways. I have a special loved one that had a major injury and had to receive imaging for it. In that imaging, another diagnosis was discovered. One in which could have ended badly, if the imaging wasn’t received. Though she is healing still from the injury, this injury may have stopped things from progressing or even saved her life. God has a purpose for everything, sometimes we get to see the why, even if not right away. This injury is maybe what it took to save her. For if she didn’t have it, the other diagnosis may not have been discovered. We can ask God why, though no matter how He chooses to reveal His answers, rest assured He has a purpose. In this instance, through her pain, she found a different type of healing. Friend, I do not know why God allows for certain things to happen. It’s also like when we miss our alarm for work somehow and end up running late. Or losing our keys. Or our car won’t start. Though maybe through the frustration, God saved us from something worse. Whether major things or small things, God has purpose in all things. May we spend more time in prayer and put our trust in Him, when the unexpected happens. For even when it seems bad in the moment, there is always a purpose in it. As I think about this loved one, and I think about her still mending, I also thank God. I thank Him for an unexpected incident, that led to a life-saving diagnosis. I thank Him for having His plans higher than our own. I thank Him for looking out for our good. For He truly, truly does.
