I recently had a procedure done and I was a little nervous. Though I closed my eyes and I thought about my husband who was outside the doors waiting. This brought me comfort as I knew that he was there for me. Though it wasn’t just my husband’s presence that brought me peace; It was God’s. As certain scripture verses repeated in my head, songs of faith played in my mind, and just a wonderfully overwhelming feeling of God’s comfort and strength came over me. I was more at ease than I could have hoped for, not just because my husband was with me; but because I knew that God was. Sometimes we go through things that are scary or challenging. But rest assured, God goes with us, before us and we can find our strength, our courage and our peace through Him. If you’re going through something friend, whatever it may be, remember God is always there for us. Go to Him, trust that He will see you through. It is in Him where we find our peace and everything that we need.
