Would we have been
On the ark
The day the rain came,
And the world got dark
Would we have been patient,
Would we have believed
That God’s word was truth
And He was giving us what we did need
Would we have looked back
Or have trusted God and looked ahead
Followed Him
Or turned to salt instead
Would we have refused an idol
Or been thrown in the fire
Continuing our faith
Or putting ourself in the mire
Would we have prayed
Knowing we’d be put in the lion’s den
Choosing to talk to God
Trusting Him till the end
Would we have answered like Moses
The call to lead
Knowing God would provide
And give us what we need
Would we have faced a giant
Trusting in our strength in Him
That we would win the battle
In God, we would win
Would we sacrifice like Abraham
Our own flesh and blood, our own child
A faith on fire
A trusting love so wild
Tell me friend what would you choose
Tell me what would you do
Would you always choose faith
When He calls for you
For faith is believing
That’s what it is about
It is being all in
In a world full of doubt
God calls us daily
To follow Him in all ways
To not be distracted
But to trust Him always
How deeply do we love God
Or do we sit on that fence of doubt
Not fully understanding
What faith is about
For it is to love God so much
That we listen, follow and obey
Whatever it be
Whatever it may
He’s calling us daily
Someday that trumpet will sound
Were we all in
To be heaven bound

Revelation 3:15-16 NIV
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold- I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
Hebrews 11:1 NIV
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
