I love watching my husband be a dad. He is not my children’s biological dad, although, he still loves them all the same. Now my boys do have a good biological dad too. However, our boys are blessed to have two dad’s that love them tremendously. Though, I must say it is a privilege watching my husband be a dad. Being that we cannot have any together, due to my health, that doesn’t steal the joy of him already being one. He didn’t change their diapers, he didn’t see their first steps, or send them to school on their first day of kindergarten. Although what he has done, is from the moment he came into our lives, he has welcomed them into his heart. Everyday loving them more. Even when they challenge him. I have learned through watching my husband, the importance of a father. I have watched my children grow in their faith and as young men. It has reminded me of how we all have a very important heavenly Father, God. He loves us, and cares for us. Even as we sin, He still loves us and wants to help us grow. Friend, may we remember that we have God, whom loves us tremendously. May we not ever forget how blessed we all are to be so loved by God, and be called His children.

1 John 3:1 NIV
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
