Wouldn’t it be grand,
Wouldn’t it be great
If we lived without sin,
I often contemplate
For how much better would life be
Without all the pain from sin
Where goodness always resides
From a place within
No animosity
No cruelty, no hate
Where love is always
Our constant state
Where we all acknowledge the truth
The truth that is Him
Where we always walk with God
Where our feet don’t touch sin
Where everything is perfect
Like the garden long ago
Where everything is beauty
From the love in which it did grow
Where hurt and pain
Does not exist
Just joy
And happiness
Loss is a word
One not known
For eternity is only
What is shown
Wouldn’t it be great
Wouldn’t it be grand
If we as humans
Could all understand
There is a place
Such as this
This needn’t be
A lofty wish
For though in this world
Sin, pain, hurt does abound
There is hope
To be heaven bound
For if a wonderful world
We hope to find
We must keep God
On our heart and mind
Someday this world
Will be made anew
Someday for me
Someday for you
We mustn’t waste time
We mustn’t hesitate
We must walk with God
Not procrastinate
Ask Jesus to come
Into our hearts
As we live for God
This is where it starts
As we walk with Him
Someday we will find
A wonderful life
With the old world behind
Won’t it be wonderful
Won’t it be great
Heaven our destination
And love our fate

Word made new
Revelation 21:1-5 NIV
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
