In the grand scheme of things time goes by so very fast
Leaving us sometimes wanting certain moments to last
Days turn to weeks, weeks to months then months to years they pass quickly by
We can’t slow time, no matter how we try
For we can only live our very best
Remembering all the ways in which we are blessed
Living it for God and living in gratitude
Enjoying all He’s given with a loving attitude
Making the most of every moment with those we hold dear
Knowing time is precious and how the days turn into years
For none but God knows when our days are done
Or when He calls us home, when that day does come
May we walk with God, and what He calls us to
Glorifying Him in all we say and do
For in the grand scheme of things, l can better see
That time goes by so quickly
So may we make the most of the time we are given
And truly live it, in the way we should be liven

Grand scheme of things
Ephesians 5:15-17 NIV
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
Psalm 39:5 NIV
You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure.
