My husband is a patient man. There are times when I am reminded of how grateful I am for it. He sees the ugliest part of me. Me in the morning when my hair is a mess, me when I am irritated and he gently listens to my grievances, the me when I am not in the best of moods with the best actions. I will admit I am human, and I am not always a ray of sunshine. Yet, he loves me patiently, kindly and with grace. I am grateful to God for blessing me with such a wonderful husband. Though it got me thinking about how God does that and even more for us. He sees us at our worst and when our attitude is ugly, yet He loves us patiently, kindly and with grace beyond measure. Friend, even the best of people have their not-so-great moments. Yet even then God offers His love and grace. Though we must always strive to do and be our best and to live as God has called. However, there is comfort that if we ask for forgiveness God is always ready to forgive and embrace us with His love. How blessed we all are to have such a loving God, who loves us even in the corners of the ugliest parts of ourselves. Always ready to extend His grace.
