Lead them to God

My children hold my heart more than they will ever know. When they cry, I cry. When they are upset, I too, am hurt. When they celebrate, I do even louder for them. When they are happy, I feel at ease with joy. I want only the best things for them. Although I cannot give them everything, I know that, that, is okay. For sometimes that’s life.  I can give them the best that I can and the best version of myself. More importantly, I can teach them about God and His love. I can teach them of what Jesus did for us. I can read the Bible with them. I can show them God’s teachings and instructions. I can do my best to raise them to be godly men. Out of all the things I can do for my sons, I pray that I’ve shown them Jesus and that they find their identity and worth in God. Friend, we do a lot for our children as parents. Teaching them, caring for them, loving them. Although are we loving them enough, to make sure that we are nurturing their faith? May the most important thing we do for our children, is guide them towards their creator.

Proverbs 22:6 NIV

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
