Ants are such cool little creatures. Did you know that they can lift ten to fifty times their own body weight? Pretty incredible, isn’t it?! They also sense vibrations; this is so they are aware of their surroundings. Pretty unique way to navigate and keep yourself safe. They also work great together with other ants for survival. I think we as humans could learn to be better about that. I was thinking, we as humans can’t lift that many times our weight. However, we are given an even more special inner strength through God, who gives us strength. Also, we don’t sense vibrations in the same way an ant does. However, we are given God’s word, instructions, and leading to help us navigate all things in life. Helping to keep us safe and on the right path. I especially like how ants work together to accomplish tasks. Have you ever dropped a chip outside at a picnic, only to see a bunch of ants working together carrying it away for food? It is quite a neat thing to witness. It is hard to fault them for running off with a chip, with all that great teamwork! How much better would things be if we all worked together with one another for the common good?! Most importantly, if we allowed God to work within us and with us? Friend, it is easy to look at an ant simply. Though there is much we can learn from these little creatures. God sure has a purpose with everything that He creates. Friend, next time you’re outside and you see some little ants, may they be a reminder of how we can find our strength, instruction, and teamwork with God.

Philippians 4:13 NIV
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
2 Corinthians 3:5-6 NIV
Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
