I was scrolling looking at used items for sale, things that I needed or may want. I came across items from my childhood. It was nostalgic to see. It brought me back to fond memories of my youth. Wow, time sure does fly! What was once the new cool item at the time, is now a relic from the past. When I was a kid, I was told by so many people (much older than I at the time), how the older you get the faster time goes. Well, I get it now. Though I’m not old, I am getting older. I see it with things from my past becoming vintage, I see it as my birthdays go by and I especially see it in the faces of my children as they grow up. I have also learned that time is not guaranteed to allow us the opportunity to age. Sadly, I have had classmates that have passed away already. The older I get the more I see the fragility of time. The more I realize I must live this life God has blessed me with the best that I can. I must walk with Him, so I can walk with Him when my time comes. Time is a precious gift, each of us having our own amount of time, unknown to us. Although known by God. As the years pass by, may we use all of our time here wisely. May we make the most of the time that God gives us. For when our time comes, that’s it. I am sure you my friend, like me, want to know that when time here stops, we will have eternity with God.

Psalm 39:4-5 NIV
“Show me, Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is.You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you.
Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure.
James 4:14 NIV
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
Psalm 90:12 NIV
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
