Have you ever been on an escalator? Something about those stairs always moving, always makes me hesitate getting on. Some people really enjoy them. I admit, there is a level of amusement about them. But it’s that first step that always gets me. I know if I step on it right and just enjoy the ride, it goes quite well. Sometimes life can feel like that. There are days we just want to stay in our comfort zone. We don’t want to step outside of it. For sometimes life seems to move so fast and sometimes we only have so much control of it. So, we at times remain stagnant, afraid to take new steps. Forgetting that God is with us on this journey. That with Him walking beside us, we find that this ride in life can be so much more enjoyable. That if we go where He leads, things go so much better. Friend, if you feel God calling you out of your comfort zone, take that step. For if God called you to it, He won’t let you stumble. Just trust in Him and enjoy the ride.
