We sat there, playing a game of checkers. Every move impacting the game. One wrong move could set me back and cost me the game. Though this game was played only for fun, it got me thinking. Life is a series of choices and we must make them wisely. For indeed they can affect our future. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose in a game of checkers. Although in life, we are given opportunities to win, even after losses. For even when we make mistakes and they may affect our lives, we can always count on God to help us make better future moves. When we walk with Him, we will eventually win, when He calls us home. Friend, may we be careful in the choices that we make, may we go to God when we make a mistake and trust that when we walk with God, we will have eternal victory someday.
