Learning to let go and surrendering it all to God can be difficult. Not because He has not proven faithful, but because fear gets in the way. The enemy doesn’t like us trusting God, for that would mean we’re fully walking with God. The enemy doesn’t like that so he puts fear in our minds; making it harder to surrender to God. Making us doubtful, forgetting that God is God and that He is good. When fear and doubt try to take the place of trust and hope, may we go to God. May His word, His promises and what He’s already shown, be a reminder that we can surrender to God. That He is dependable and He does look out for our good. Friend, may we choose faith over fear. May we show our faithfulness in surrender, as He shows His faithfulness in our lives. May we trust God, even when we don’t have all the answers. For fear only makes things harder, but surrendering to God brings about peace. I would rather trust God in my unknown, then live in fear of it.
